နေရပ်စွန့်ကာ အသက်ကယ်ဖို့
ရောက်ရနေရ သူများပြည်သို့
သိုက်မဲ့ငှက်ပမာ ဘဝကံနှင့်
အားကိုးရာမဲ့ လမ်းလည်းတလွှဲ
ပင်လယ်ထဲမျော သစ်ငုတ်သဏ္ဌာန်
ကမ်းပျောက်လေရှာ ရိုဟင်းသား။
နလှန်ထူဖို့ စိတ်ကူးနှင့်မို့
ရုန်းကန်ထလည်း ငါးစာဖြစ်ရ
ကမ်းစမမြင် ပင်လယ်ပြင်ထဲ
ဂူတွင်းပျက်ခံ ပုရွက်ဆိတ်သို့
နစ်မြှုပ်လို့သေ ဇီဝန်အသက်
မနက်ဖြန်ပျောက်ရှာ ရိုဟင်းသား။
ကိုယ့်ပြည်တွယ်တာ ပြန်ခရီးမျှော်လို့
ဖြုတ်ကျနေတဲ့ ဥက္ကာပျံလို
သက်ကြီးအိုရွယ် နိဂုံးချုပ်နေပြီ
ကျန်ရစ်သားသမီး ရိပ်မဲ့ပင်လည်း
အခါမစေ့ ကြွေကျလုမတတ်
အနာဂတ်ပျောက်ရှာ ရိုဟင်းသား။
နောင်လာနောင်သား လက်ကမ်းဆက်ဖို့
သင့်ရာစာပေ သင်ခွင့်မရ
လှောင်အိမ်ပိတ်ခံ ကျေးငှက်ဟန်
လိုရာပန်းတိုင် မလှမ်းရှာလို့
တိတ်ဆိတ်နေရ လူအပမာ
ဘဝပျောက်လေရှာ ရိုဟင်းသား။

Eid; The Day of Pleasure

Since last three years,
I lost the pleasure during the Eid.
I want to feel that pleasure
again in my life.
We used to make comfort
with emotions and feelings.
When the Eid comes now,
we get upset instead.
Where our revelry has gone?
I want to be with you all again
Give me once more chance
I can’t obliterate those memories
Hope we can celebrate the Eid altogether again
We would embrace each other again
We would gift Eidi each other again
May we enjoy the times again!
