A Terrible Spider

Toe by toe, step by step,
stair by stair, floor by floor,
a pandemic proceeds his journey,
rests and starts to progress
further and further, closer to closer.
He drinks water and walks,
but never sleeps, nor gets tired
Yet no one knows when he finishes his destination.

He marches on the chest of the earth,
threatens all people he finds on his way;
young, old, poor or rich,
without a peep to their faces.
He catches them with his trunk
and hurls to the far out graveyard.

When he screams,
the whole planet vibrates violently.
Pushing out the current of drugs,
he swallows thousands of his preys.

Will he make wind his wing
to flit across the eyes of moon,
to beak, bleed, and blind?
