A Child Amid COVID-19

I’m a child, worried, scared,
a world of uncertainty
I feel alarmed, fearful of this virus,
spreading everywhere.
This virus is not a joke,
it kills anyone, at anytime and anywhere. Judging by looks of things,
social distancing has saved
so have our health-workers
been risking their lives
working restlessy
every day and night.

PLEASE STAY AT HOME,
SO YOU CAN LIVE UP ANOTHER DAY
AND SLEEP ANOTHER NIGHT.

"အနာဂတ်ပျောက် ရိုဟင်းသား" နေရပ်စွန့်ကာ အသက်ကယ်ဖို့ ရောက်ရနေရ သူများပြည်သို့ သိုက်မဲ့ငှက်ပမာ ဘဝကံနှင့် အားကိုးရာမဲ့ လမ်းလည်းတလွှဲ ပင်လယ်ထဲမျော သစ်ငုတ်သဏ္ဌာန် ကမ်းပျောက်လေရှာ ရိုဟင်းသား။ နလှန်ထူဖို့ စိတ်ကူးနှင့်မို့ ရုန်းကန်ထလည်း ငါးစာဖြစ်ရ ကမ်းစမမြင် ပင်လယ်ပြင်ထဲ ဂူတွင်းပျက်ခံ ပုရွက်ဆိတ်သို့ နစ်မြှုပ်လို့သေ ဇီဝန်အသက် မနက်ဖြန်ပျောက်ရှာ ရိုဟင်းသား။ ကိုယ့်ပြည်တွယ်တာ ပြန်ခရီးမျှော်လို့ ဖြုတ်ကျနေတဲ့ ဥက္ကာပျံလို သက်ကြီးအိုရွယ် နိဂုံးချုပ်နေပြီ ကျန်ရစ်သားသမီး ရိပ်မဲ့ပင်လည်း အခါမစေ့ ကြွေကျလုမတတ် အနာဂတ်ပျောက်ရှာ ရိုဟင်းသား။ နောင်လာနောင်သား လက်ကမ်းဆက်ဖို့ သင့်ရာစာပေ သင်ခွင့်မရ လှောင်အိမ်ပိတ်ခံ ကျေးငှက်ဟန် လိုရာပန်းတိုင် မလှမ်းရှာလို့ တိတ်ဆိတ်နေရ လူအပမာ ဘဝပျောက်လေရှာ ရိုဟင်းသား။ — မိုဟာမတ်ရှားဟ် Editorial Team (7-4-2024)
